Brook Trout - 11in x 14in

The Brook trout is an icon of the Maine wilderness.  This fish was raised at the Mi'kmaq Fish Hatchery in Caribou, Maine.  The minimalist treatment of the subject along with the random ink spaces give this fish a sense of movment and presence that practically leaps off the wall. 

This piece is a a giclée reproduction printed on acid free archival paper and hand detailed by the artist with sumi ink.  This is the artist proof and is not part of the numbered series of prints in the limited edition run of this artwork.
