Atlantic Halibut Tail - 30in x 22in

The Atlantic Halibut is the largest flatfish in the world and is prized by chefs for its firm flesh and delicate flavor. This halibut was caught in the Gulf of Maine and was over 5 feet long.  The tail measures nearly 18 inches tip to tip.  It is printed on mulberry-based rice paper using traditional Japanese sumi ink (pine soot mixed with water). Wet mounted for rigidity and archival stability.

This artwork ships rolled in a sturdy cardboard mailing tube.
